Job Description
At Visa the Corporate Information Technology Revenue & Pricing team enables Visas revenue growth through flexible rulebased pricing engines and global revenue platforms built on nextgeneration technologies. This includes managing system requirements evaluating cuttingedge technologies design development integration quality assurance implementation and maintenance of corporate revenue applications.
The candidate will work on developing and implementing applications that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance business function. The candidate should enjoy working on diverse technologies and should be excited to take initiatives to solve complex business problems and get the job done while taking on new challenges. You should thrive in teamoriented and fastpaced environments where each teammember is vital to the overall success of the projects.
Responsibilities
- Build/Code applications using a variety of frontend and backend technologies.
- Handson Programming
- Fullstack development contributes to the design of backend databases and queries API creations and consumptions and contributes to frontend UI development.
- Works independently with minimal insight to develop software that conforms to Visas high standards of security quality performance resiliency and compliance.
- Design develop and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
- Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate
- Provide thirdlevel support to business users.
- Keep up with current and developing engineering trends.
- Work with architects systems analysts project managers and other developers to efficiently implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree OR 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Associate: 2 or more years of work experience
1 years of software development experience with a concentration in data
centric initiatives.
Demonstrated expertise in leveraging standard development best practice
methodologies.
Solid handson experience with Java and related frameworks.
Experience in working with any of the databases.
Exposure to UI development and Gen AI technologies and tools is an added
advantage.
Experience working in an Agile and TestDriven Development environment.
Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins Artifactory and
Git.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to orient data engineering to
the business needs of internal clients.
Demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor strong attention to detail.
Teamoriented energetic collaborative diplomatic and flexible style.
