We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Desktop Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supporting and optimizing our desktop environments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our users have a seamless and efficient experience with their desktop systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support for desktop hardware and software including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
Monitor and maintain desktop systems for performance and security.
Collaborate with the IT team to deploy new desktop environments and tools.
Create and maintain documentation on desktop configurations processes and procedures.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees ensuring all desktop needs are met.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to desktop engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
Knowledge of networking concepts and practices.
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
