Financial Accountant in the Heart of Camps Bay!
We are looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join the team at a stunning hotel located in the heart of Camps Bay with the majestic Twelve Apostles Mountain range as a backdrop and the Atlantic Ocean just a minutes walk away. If you have a proven track record as a Financial Accountant and are eager to make a significant impact we want to hear from you!
What Youll Be Doing:
- Overseeing designing and implementing financial controls to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborating with highquality staff and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
- Leading the finance team with a focus on precision effective communication and exceptional service.

Were seeking a young and energetic individual with a strong financial background whos ready to take on a key role in a thriving environment. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing financial practices and ensuring the smooth running of all financerelated activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent is essential.
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting / Cost and Management Accounting.
- Experience: 12 years postarticles with 2 years of experience in a similar field.
- Technical Skills: Advanced skills in MS Office Sage Evolution. Hospitality Accounting experience and Opera knowledge are beneficial.
Competencies/Skills:
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and comprehension in English (other languages are a plus).
- DecisionMaking: Strong analytical and reasoning skills along with excellent judgment.
- SelfManagement: Stress tolerance and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Leadership & Teamwork: Experience in leading teams and fostering collaboration with a strategic vision for business alignment and team development.
