The SEO Consultant is responsible for the delivery of SEO for up to eight customers across a range of industries and the coordination of SEO strategies delivered by the wider SEO team. This role sits within our customerfacing Search Marketing team whose primary role is to generate highquality relevant applications (candidates) for our customers by raising awareness and driving the performance of our customers careers sites.
The SEO Consultant will work closely with other SEO team members to deliver a comprehensive and impactful SEO offering. Combining expertise best practices and emerging techniques will be instrumental in driving organic growth and ensuring our careers sites consistently achieve topranking positions.
Please note that this is a fixedterm contract for 6 months.
This is a critical role within the team and has four key areas of responsibility:
- Customer satisfaction: Establish regular touchpoints with customers to provide insight and explanation for the results delivered ensuring expectations are managed and exceeded
- Renewals: All our customers are on a 12month contract and the service provided by the team will have a direct impact on whether or not the customer renews their contract. While not directly responsible you will be able to influence the outcome of contract renewals for primary SEO customers
- Delivery of SEO: Use the standardized SEO strategy and tailor it to each customers specific goals industries and target audiences
- Overview of deliverables: Be aware of which accounts resources are being allocated to whether theres undeserving or overservicing and flag to the Head of Search Marketing where additional resources are needed
Key results within the role are:
- Achieve a 100% customer satisfaction rate among new clients during the onboarding process as assessed through postonboarding surveys and feedback
- Build strong relationships with existing customers thereby establishing yourself as an expert in the digital recruitment marketing landscape
- Regularly passing qualified opportunities to the Account Manager or Customer Success Manager
- Ensure all customers have a Scope of Work in place with planned deliverables for the upcoming quarter and beyond
- Improve collaboration and knowledgesharing within the SEO team
- Collaborate seamlessly to enhance crossfunctional service delivery for customers engaging in SEO Content and Digital Advertising adopting a knowledgesharing system that generates impactful customer insights
Qualifications :
- 3 Years in Search Engine Optimisation: Over three years of experience working within a dynamic Digital Advertising Agency
- SEO Expertise: Proficient in Google Analytics 4 Search Console and SEO tools such as Ahrefs SEMRush Moz and Screaming Frog
- Comprehensive SEO Knowledge: A deep understanding of keyword research onpage SEO offpage SEO and content marketing
- Technical SEO Proficiency: A strong grasp of technical SEO including the ability to conduct website audits and prioritize tasks accordingly
- SEO migration: Extensive experience migrating website domains whilst maintaining traffic levels
- Industry Awareness: Staying uptodate with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure creative strategies
- Effective Communication: Exceptional presentation and communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven Success: A track record demonstrating impactful SEO strategies and customer satisfaction
- Time Management: Ability to balance customer needs by directing resources to higherpriority accounts
- Certifications: Google Analytics and SEO certifications are a valuable plus
