Job Description

Position: Pharmacy Manager

Company Overview:

Position Overview:

As the Pharmacy Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our clients pharmacy department ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services to patients. You will work closely with a dedicated team of pharmacists and technicians to maintain highquality standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the daytoday operations of the pharmacy department

Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws regulations and company policies

Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy operations

Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed

Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications including compounding and IV admixtures

Provide guidance and support to pharmacists and technicians including training and development

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all pharmacy activities

Participate in quality assurance programs and identify areas for improvement

Handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner

Stay updated on industry trends and developments to ensure the pharmacy department is up to date with the latest practices and technologies

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy

Current PA state pharmacy license in good standing

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Manager in a retail setting

Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws regulations and best practices

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment

Proficient in pharmacy computer systems and software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work well in a team and independently
