Job Description
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in accounting and internal auditing.
- Proficiency in all accounting and internal audit functions including preparing financial reports analyzing financial data and evaluating financial and administrative operations.
- Academic qualification in Accounting Finance or equivalent (e.g. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance).
- Professional certifications are preferred (e.g. CPA CIA CMA).
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Oracle SAP QuickBooks).
- Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal auditing standards.
- Proficiency in Arabic and good command of English.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audit operations according to established plans to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Examine and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare reports on audit findings and provide recommendations for improving financial operations.
- Contribute to the development of internal control systems and identify and correct weaknesses.
- Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.
- Monitor accounting processes and verify the application of accounting standards.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure operational efficiency.
