About the role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing identity and access management solutions within one of Europes largest telecommunications operators. Our services span multiple operating companies (opcos) across the region each with unique technical and legal requirements.
As part of the Vodafone ID ecosystem you will ensure seamless integration and operation of identity management solutions across various platforms supporting portals and applications that impact millions of customers. From complex integration requirements to troubleshooting and complaint resolution youll address challenges that come from diverse stakeholders and regions ensuring excellence and efficiency in every interaction.
This is a highimpact handson role where you will be at the forefront of enabling secure and seamless digital experiences for users across Europe.
As a part of your job you will:
- Technical Investigation & Implementation:
- Lead deep technical investigations and deliver handson solutions.
- Set up Keycloak (AWS) as a protocol broker to map OpenID Connect to SAML protocols.
- Demand Management:
- Act as the gatekeeper for incoming demands to the Vodafone ID area from integration requirements to troubleshooting and complaint resolution.
- Analyze validate and handle technical requests while providing efficient and clear responses.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Engage with multiple stakeholders including local markets (opcos) across Europe to address their unique identity and access management requirements.
- Navigate varying legal and technical requirements such as ID card scanning video uploads or credit card checks depending on the market.
- ProblemSolving & Efficiency:
- Quickly identify root causes of technical issues ensuring smooth and efficient responses.
- Redirect or deny requests with sound technical reasoning when necessary.
What are we looking for
- Proven experience with Keycloak (AWS) setup and configuration especially as a protocol broker for OpenID Connect and SAML mapping.
- Strong technical understanding of identity and access management systems.
- Excellent English fluencyable to communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple countries and levels of expertise.
- Selfmotivation and the ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
- Outofthebox thinking to solve complex problems creatively and effectively.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and the flexibility to navigate a dynamic multistakeholder environment.
- Handson problemsolving skills with the ability to provide clear and efficient explanations.
- Familiarity with consultancy roles and an ability to navigate complex multistakeholder environments.
- Bonus: Experience with identity management solutions and legalspecific requirements in different European markets.
