Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Engineer Test Engineering (BQST HAMR) to join our team in BangPain Thailand. In this role you will lead and contribute to the development and implementation of advanced test strategies for our cuttingedge HeatAssisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR) technology. As a senior member of our test engineering team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data storage solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design develop and implement comprehensive test plans and methodologies for HAMR technology and related data storage systems
- Lead the automation of test processes to improve efficiency and coverage
- Analyze test results identify issues and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve complex technical problems
- Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Develop and maintain test documentation including test cases procedures and reports
- Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to ensure testability of new features and products
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies in test engineering and data storage
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for test engineering within the organization
Qualifications :
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in test engineering preferably in the data storage or hard drive industry
- Advanced knowledge of test engineering principles and methodologies
PREFERRED:
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience with HAMR (HeatAssisted Magnetic Recording) technology
- Familiarity with data analysis and statistical tools
- Knowledge of hardware testing and validation processes
- Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced collaborative environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required by the role
