Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Engineer Cloud Migration Projects (GCP)
Location: Bangalore work from office at Bommanahalli Karnataka
Shift and Time : 2;00 to 10:00 PM
Seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to join our team and contribute to critical cloud migration projects. This role involves leveraging cuttingedge cloud technologies with a strong emphasis on Terraform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure seamless and efficient migration processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cloud architecture automation and migration strategies.
Summary:
As a Cloud Engineer the candidate will be responsible for planning executing and optimizing cloud migration strategies for enterprise applications. They will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design secure scalable and resilient cloud solutions tailored to client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud migration strategies to transition workloads and applications to GCP.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
Collaborate with architects developers and stakeholders to define migration roadmaps and strategies.
Ensure compliance with best practices for security scalability and cost optimization in GCP environments.
Automate deployment pipelines and workflows using CI/CD tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues including performance bottlenecks and configuration errors.
Perform cloud resource monitoring and optimization for performance and cost efficiency.
Conduct risk assessments and implement robust disaster recovery solutions.
Document cloud architectures migration plans and operational processes.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in GCP and cloud migration tools and practices.
Qualifications:
6 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on cloud migrations.
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
Handson experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
Strong understanding of networking principles including VPNs firewalls and load balancers in cloud environments.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana or equivalent.
Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.
Knowledge of database migrations and tools for cloudbased data solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and multicloud strategies.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
