Location: New York City NY (Hybrid 3 days a week)

Position Overview:
  • End client has global team of alternative investment managers passionate about delivering uncommon value to our investors and shareholders. With over 30 years of proven expertise across Private Equity Credit and Real Estate regions and industries end client is known for their integrated businesses their strong investment performance their valueoriented philosophy and their people.
  • The end client and Innovation team is responsible to design and deliver digital products to their institutional and wealth management clients and sales team.
  • They are a product driven and developer focused team their goal is to simplify our engineering process and meet our business objectives.
  • They look for creative collaborators who evolve adapt to change and thrive in a fastpaced global environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • End client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join their Technology team.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with product teams particularly those in marketing and distribution for alternative asset management.
  • This role involves analyzing business needs facilitating communication between stakeholders and ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
  • Collaborate with product teams to gather and document detailed business requirements.
  • Conduct interviews workshops and surveys to understand the needs of marketing and distribution teams.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology solutions.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends patterns and insights that support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide datadriven recommendations to improve marketing and distribution strategies.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as a liaison between the technology team and product teams in marketing and distribution.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to update stakeholders on project status issues and changes.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of project goals timelines and deliverables.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the marketing and distribution teams.
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct postimplementation reviews to measure the success of process changes.
Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to marketing and distribution teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to technology solutions.
  • Assist in the training of endusers on new systems and tools.
Project Management:
  • Assist in the planning execution and monitoring of technology projects.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Information Technology or a related field.
  • Masters degree or relevant certification (e.g. CBAP PMP) is a plus.
Experience:
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services or asset management industry.
  • Experience working with marketing and distribution teams is highly desirable.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile JIRA).
  • Familiarity with Data Warehousing and Master Data Management.
  • Familiarity with CRM marketing and distribution tools (e.g. Salesforce Pardot Seismic Cvent On24 Google Analytics)
  • Understanding of technology solutions and their application in marketing and distribution.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
