Job Description
Position: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Washington DC

Essential Job Functions:
Develop and maintain Custom SAP Objects like screens RFC BAPI BADI User exits inbound and outbound interfaces ABAP/4 Reports ABAP Query and Report Writer and Report Painter reports in the areas of FI CO FM and MM modules
Write Low Level Design Unit Testing Plan and Unit Test case documentation
Design develop code review bugfix and test the application
Assist in Integration Testing
Perform Code optimization and strictly adhere to bank coding standards
Assist in any documentation or any artifacts needed for OIS clearance
Coordinate daytoday communication between team in Chennai and HQ Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Education : Bachelors degree in Computing Science Engineering or related discipline
Role Specific Experience: 58 years of relevant experience
Experience in writing interfaces between SAP and legacy systems including data migration data validation and data conversion Experience with ABAP/4 Query ALV and Report Writer and Report Painter tools Experience with BAPI and RFC technology IT experience with SAP ABAP/4 programming
Technical experience with FI (General Ledger Special Purpose Ledger) Controlling Budgeting and Funds Management Travel and Materials Management modules of SAP
Experience in Function Modules RFC Reports BDCs SMARTFORMS BAPI User Exits & Enhancements and Unicode based programming Certification Requirements:
SAP ABAP certification Skills/Abilities Requirements:
Good understanding and practical expertise with regards to software development life cycle methodologies
Good understanding of the following: database tables used in FI CO FM Travel and MM modules Handson SAP ABAP code optimization techniques Solid knowledge in the development and testing methodologies and quality practices Strong communication skills and hands on experience in analyzing user requirements and writing technical specifications
