Job Title: Admission Counselor
Location: Hyderabad India
Experience Required: 23 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Admission Counselor with 23 years of experience in education counseling and student admissions. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the entire admission process from inquiry to enrollment ensuring a seamless and informative experience. You will act as a key point of contact for students and parents helping them make informed decisions about their education journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist prospective students by providing accurate information about the institution programs admission requirements and financial aid options.
- Guide students through the admission process including application submission document verification and enrollment procedures.
- Conduct student interviews and counseling sessions to understand their academic goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up on inquiries and applications via phone calls emails and inperson meetings to provide necessary information and address concerns.
- Maintain a database of prospective students and update application status regularly.
- Organize and participate in admissionrelated events such as open houses education fairs campus tours and webinars.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement strategies for student recruitment and increase admissions.
- Stay updated on program changes university policies and competitive admissions trends in the education sector.
- Ensure compliance with admission policies deadlines and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on inquiry and admission trends to support enrollment targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in any discipline (Masters degree preferred but not mandatory).
- 23 years of experience in student counseling admissions or educational consultancy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with the education system and academic programs in India and abroad.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Positive attitude selfmotivated and driven to meet admission goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in counseling for higher education institutes or universities.
- Knowledge of student visa processes and international admissions.
