Job Description

Commercial Manager

Are you a driven professional with expertise in managing complex infrastructure projects and a strong background in business development? A prestigious international engineering and construction company is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact projects and shape the future of global infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Project Delivery and Commercial teams, ensuring smooth operations and strategic alignment.
  • Identify and develop new investment opportunities and projects in international markets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, funding entities, and key stakeholders to unlock new opportunities.
  • Devise and implement procurement strategies for tender preparation and project execution.
  • Oversee contracts through all phases of the asset lifecycle, ensuring risk is effectively managed.
  • Support project financing activities, including managing relationships with banks and export credit agencies (ECAs).
  • Ensure strong financial controls for revenue recognition, invoicing, and cash collection.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management, including exposure to international EPC contracts.
  • Proven ability to manage bankable projects and attract investment.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with transport, renewable energy, or water projects is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.
