Job Description:
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling the companys food processing machinery to clients in the Jabodetabek area. They will work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies as well as provide technical support to clients and potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the food processing industry
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Jakarta market
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients including troubleshooting and problemsolving
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Keep uptodate with industry trends and developments to identify potential sales opportunities
- Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to management
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the companys products
- Travel to client sites as needed to provide onsite technical support and training
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineer or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical sales preferably in the food processing industry
- Strong knowledge of food processing machinery and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel within the Jakarta area as needed
- Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
