Job Description

This Role will lead the financial operations of the organization overseeing budgeting forecasting reporting compliance and audits. This strategic role is key to ensuring financial health aligning with longterm goals and collaborating with the executive team to drive decisionmaking and manage daily financial activities.

The company is catered to (OEMs) in both automotive and nonautomotive sectors across India and globally. The annual turnover of approximately INR 1500 Crores is on the path to an initial public offering (IPO). The companys continued focus on meeting the evolving needs of the automotive industry makes it a preferred partner for leading names such as Hero MotoCorp TVS Motor Company Mahindra & Mahindra Honda and many others.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead financial planning and forecasting processes ensuring alignment with the company s strategic goals.

  • Manage product costing pricing strategies and costcutting initiatives.

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support decisionmaking.


Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Develop manage and control budgets across departments.

  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts taking corrective actions where necessary.


Cash Flow Management:

  • Oversee cash flow management ensuring liquidity is maintained for operational and capital needs.

  • Manage working capital efficiently ensuring optimal cash management practices.


Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders including the Board and CEO.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements under local regulations (Tax Laws SEBI Companies Act etc.).

  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits addressing any issues that arise.


Debt & Equity Fund Raising:

  • Lead debt and equity fundraising efforts as needed.

  • Work closely with financial institutions and investors to secure financing for company expansion or operations.


Tax Planning & Compliance:

  • Oversee all aspects of tax compliance including direct and indirect taxes.

  • Ensure timely filing of all tax returns and compliance with relevant tax laws.

  • Develop and implement taxsaving strategies.


Internal Controls & ERP Implementation:

  • Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets.

  • Lead ERP system implementations and integrations ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.


Audit Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve any identified issues.


Vendor Negotiations & Cost Management:

  • Manage vendor negotiations for better terms and cost efficiency.

  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to optimize cash flow.


Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead mentor and manage the accounts team ensuring efficiency and professionalism in all functions.

  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure alignment between departments and financial goals.




Requirements

Qualifications:

  • CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent certification.

  • Minimum 1015 years of experience in accounting and finance with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience in managing accounts for a manufacturing company or similar industry.

  • Strong experience in ERP implementation and cash flow management.



Key Responsibilities 1. Corporate Governance & Compliance Oversee all aspects of company secretarial and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to SEBI regulations and the Companies Act. Provide guidance to the board and senior management on corporate governance practices and statutory requirements. Prepare, review, and manage regulatory filings and disclosures to ensure timely and accurate submissions to authorities. 2. Board and Shareholder Management Organize, facilitate, and record minutes for board, committee, and shareholder meetings. Act as the primary point of contact between the board of directors, shareholders, and regulatory authorities. Handle board communications, including preparation of board agendas, materials, and resolutions. 3. Listing Compliance and IPO Readiness Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with listing requirements, supporting the company's IPO preparations. Develop and maintain systems to meet reporting requirements for a publicly listed company. Work with financial advisors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to streamline IPO-related documentation and processes. 4. Risk Management and Internal Controls Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks, working closely with risk and audit functions. Establish frameworks to enhance compliance, governance, and transparency in reporting practices. Support the audit committee in matters of regulatory and statutory compliance. 5. Regulatory Compliance and Filings Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment and act proactively to ensure compliance. Manage the preparation and submission of annual reports, statutory reports, and other filings as required. Handle the corporate documentation of all board resolutions, regulatory submissions, and communications. 6. Communication and Reporting Serve as a key point of contact for investors and regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication and reporting. Prepare corporate governance reports and other disclosures to be included in the company's annual reports. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with membership in the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). A minimum of 8-12 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry, with prior experience working in a publicly listed company or a company preparing for an IPO. Deep knowledge of SEBI regulations, Companies Act, and listing requirements. Demonstrated experience in corporate governance, compliance, and board management. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.
