Job Description
SGS are seeking a full time XRF chemist to join the dynamic team in Perth.
Responsibilities include however not limited to:
Ensure all instrument calibrations are satisfactory
Maintain all instruments to be able to provide acceptable quality through proactive review of trends and instrument performance monitoring.
Provide technical training for XRF staff
Provide technical support to the production and sales teams
Troubleshooting analysis problems and nonconformances in a timely manner
Ongoing maintenance of NATA accreditation for XRF section with a technical focus
Qualifications :
To be successful with this position you will have:
- A science degree specialising in Chemistry or similar.
- Experience in calibration and operation of XRF instruments.
