Summary
The Cloud DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations ensuring that applications are developed tested and deployed efficiently and reliably. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and demonstrate expertise in automating and streamlining processes to enhance productivity and collaboration across teams. This role involves managing and optimizing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines automating infrastructure management and ensuring the overall health performance and security of our systems. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with Enterprise Architecture Development QA and IT teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and highquality software delivery. This position requires a proactive approach to problemsolving strong communication skills and a commitment to staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines including automating certificate deployments and DNS information.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of code.
- Monitor system performance availability and security implementing improvements as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the application infrastructure and deployments.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development security and DevOps methodologies.
- Provide support and guidance to development teams on DevOps processes and tools.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps processes.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on Azure DevOps.
- Experience with cloud platforms particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Expert working experience of Pipelines Repos Artifacts and Boards in solutions like Azure DevOps .
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Azure DevOps Engineer certification is a plus.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools.
