Position: Senior Middleware Administrator
Location: Atlanta GA 30303
Client: State of Georgia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Middleware Administrator to support our Middleware environment. This role involves managing builds deployments patching and maintenance while collaborating with crossfunctional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to provide solutions to complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer IBM WebSphere Application Servers and automate tasks using scripts.
- Build deploy and maintain WebSphere WebLogic Tomcat and IIS environments.
- Ensure compliance with security audit requirements and implement automated deployment systems.
- Provide Linux support and develop/maintain shell scripts.
- Manage change and incident tasks in accordance with IT policies.
Required Skills:
- 5 years in Middleware Products (IBM WebSphere IHS IIS)
- 2 years with Tomcat Apache HTTP server Oracle WebLogic
- 3 years on Windows and Linux/Unix installation and maintenance
- Working experience with Jenkins pipelines
- Proficiency with shell scripting (bash sh)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes Docker and CI/CD solutions
- Familiarity with IBM COTS applications and scripting languages like PowerShell and Python
