Job Description

Responsibilities Hands on experience in design and managing the team of MEP Engineers Lead and manage a team of leads and engineers in the design and execution of MEP projects. Oversee the planning design and implementation of MEP systems in various projects. Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes standards and client requirements. Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Review and approve design drawings specifications and other technical documents. Provide technical guidance and support to the team. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget. Conduct site visits and inspections as required. Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and advancements. Good skills in AutoCAD. Able to prepare basic layouts & General Arrangement / Detailing Drawings in CAD. Good communication skills team leader able to manage the team of 1012 engineers will be an added advantage. Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to MEP including directing the design team reviewing drafts and computer models and approving design changes. Communicate directly with managers production staff marketing personnel and clients to discuss and organize projects from original conceptual design through construction. Responsible for aid in creation of working drawings budgeting scheduling specifications planning and design on projects with authority to direct control and monitor all activities. Present design proposals and bids to management according to prescribed deadlines and explain relevant details reports expense line items and goals in clear and persuasive language. Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation standards and codes of practice and drawings in accordance with the statutory and regulatory building requirements. Provide consultations during the project development and bidding phases. Follows up the implementation of any necessary changes to the designs or drawings.
