About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ServiceNow Portal Functional Consultant/Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for gathering requirements designing developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow Service Portal. You will work closely with business stakeholders technical teams and endusers to deliver exceptional user experiences and drive adoption of our ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Elicit analyze and document business requirements for ServiceNow Portal enhancements and new portal development. Conduct user workshops interviews and surveys to understand user needs and pain points.
Solution Design: Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design userfriendly and intuitive ServiceNow Portal solutions. Create wireframes mockups and prototypes to visualize proposed solutions.
Portal knowledge: Configure and customize the ServiceNow Service Portal including widgets pages themes and navigation. Collaborate with developers to implement complex customizations and integrations.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of ServiceNow Portal solutions. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
Deployment & Training: Support the deployment of ServiceNow Portal solutions and provide training to endusers. Develop user documentation and training materials.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with business stakeholders technical teams and endusers throughout the project lifecycle. Manage expectations and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Continuous Improvement: Stay uptodate with the latest ServiceNow Portal features and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the ongoing development of our ServiceNow platform.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other ServiceNow team members including developers administrators and architects.
Qualifications and Experience:
5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst with a focus on
Strong understanding of ServiceNow ServiceNow Portal development. platform capabilities and best practices.
Handson experience with configuring and customizing the ServiceNow Service Portal including widgets pages themes and UI design.
Basic knowledge in HTML CSS JavaScript and AngularJS (or similar frameworks).
Experience with requirements gathering process mapping and user story creation.
Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
Experience with latest tools like Miro for process mapping.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Agile development methodologies preferred.
ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Certified System Administrator) a plus.
