We are seeking a professional and organized Janitorial Site Supervisor to join our team in Cold Lake Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations managing staff and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained across assigned facilities.
- Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff assigning tasks and creating work schedules
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment placing orders as needed
- Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques safety procedures and company policies
- Address and resolve any client concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with management to develop and improve cleaning processes and procedures
- Prepare and submit regular reports on cleaning operations and staff performance
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Qualifications :
- 35 years of janitorial experience with 12 years in a supervisory role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- WHMIS certification (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques equipment and industrial cleaning standards
- Excellent team management and leadership skills
- Proficiency in creating and managing staff schedules
- Experience with inventory management and supply ordering
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the janitorial industry
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Physical stamina to perform occasional cleaning tasks and equipment demonstrations
