Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The role is responsible for repairing and maintaining any equipment or processes in the facility.
This position works on 1st shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm MondayFriday.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions
- Performs all preventative and reactive maintenance on lab equipment and building including complex electronic and mechanical equipment.
- Maintains all maintenancerelated software programs such as PM logs material acquisition logs etc.
- Secures machine parts at the lowest cost.
- Communicates with various Help Desks (foreign and domestic) to fix various machines.
- Fabricates systems and machines to make production easier and of better quality.
- Trains new Maintenance associates and Production associates according to direction from the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Communicates and interfaces with Production associates and Production leadership to optimize the interaction between departments.
- Follows all safety rules and protocols rigorously.
Qualifications :
Education Level
High School Diploma or equivalent. Required
Work Experience
- 46 years of experience in the maintenance diagnosis and repair of complex equipment (Electronics CNCtype equipment). Preferred
Additional Skills Includes Computer/Software Skills
Description
- Must be able to read and write in English. Required
- Ability to read and interpret both American and European electrical and electronic diagramming and schematics. Required
- PLC programming a plus. Preferred
