Job Description
- Plan design and develop landscape projects ensuring successful execution of design concepts.
- Create detailed planting plans selecting appropriate plants materials and techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients architects and project teams to develop landscape solutions that align with project goals.
- Provide expertise in sustainable and innovative landscaping techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends materials and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive landscape planning and design for various projects ensuring functionality and aesthetics.
- Prepare BOQs cost estimates and material specifications for accurate project budgeting.
- Develop detailed planting plans and collaborate with architects and project teams for seamless execution.
- Select appropriate plants materials and techniques to align with project requirements and environmental conditions.
- Present design concepts and plans to clients effectively communicating ideas and solutions to gain approval.
- Create 2D & 3D visualizations drawings and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Manage projects from conception to completion ensuring adherence to quality standards timelines and client expectations.
- Engage with clients and contribute to sales by showcasing design expertise and innovative solutions.
- Assist in preparing project reports documentation and client presentations.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A Master s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Proven skills in landscape planning design and execution.
- Experience in landscaping or landscape architecture including planting plans and site coordination.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities for design and project challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage clients and teams.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of horticulture plant species and sustainable landscaping practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD SketchUp and other design/rendering tools.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in project budgeting BOQs and material selection.
- Exposure to site visits vendor coordination and construction techniques.
- Sales skills to pitch design concepts and convert clients.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and environmental planning.
- Understanding of local building codes and landscape regulations.
