Our client is s software development company with presence in New York USA and Santiago Chile. They are currently seeking a Support Engineer to join their Chilean team.
Mission:
Support is a key area within the company which takes pride in having a topnotch inhouse Customer Success team that ensures a seamless user experience. To further elevate the level of support the company is seeking a Support Engineer to collaborate with both the Customer Success and Engineering teams in assisting users.
Responsibilities:
- Be the bridge between the Customer Success team and the Engineering team.
- Troubleshoot user issues that are escalated by the Customer Success team.
- Define and create support tools to help better understand trends troubleshoot data problems and assist the Customer Success team.
- Interact with users to help troubleshoot any engineering or datarelated issues they might encounter.
- Communicate constantly with the rest of the Engineering team to learn how everything works and share what users are having problems with.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working as a developer or support engineer.
- Experience with Javascript and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills.
- English proficiency; all of the meetings and internal communications are in English.
- Based in Santiago Chile.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with: Google Cloud / Firebase / Firestore Retool Mobile apps one or more modern frontend web frameworks (React Vue Angular).
