Our client is s software development company with presence in New York USA and Santiago Chile. They are currently seeking a Web Engineer to join their Chilean team.
Mission:
The company has been able to craft a bestinclass app for iOS and Mac and now want to bring that app to the web with the same level of user experience. To achieve this they are looking for a Web Engineer to join them in the development of our new platform and contribute to the building of an allstar Web team of which you would be the third member.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams to define and implement new features and constantly improve the ones we already have.
- Maintain and improve the quality and performance of the web app.
- Implement unit and UI tests for new features to maintain and improve reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working on Web apps on the frontend side.
- Experience with TypeScript and React.
- Knowledge of React frameworks and built tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and crossbrowser compatibility.
- Experience with asynchronous request handling.
- An eye for good design and attention to detail.
- Team player who can manage time independently.
- English proficiency; all of the meetings and internal communications are in English.
- Based in Santiago Chile.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of performance and scalability techniques.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience with: Progress Web Apps Google Cloud / Firebase / Firestore Mobile apps CI / CD systems.
