Job Description

Job Overview:

Seeking a technically competent and experienced SeniorWater/Wastewater Engineer for immediate hire in our Austin TX office. As a subject matterexpert in water and wastewater engineering you will lead teams plan analyze and designprojects for municipalities across Central Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of water and wastewater pipelines force mains pump stations liftstations treatment plants water supply systems and solids handling facilities. Prepare plans specifications cost opinions schedules and permits for preliminary andfinal designs. Manage project scopes schedules and budgets while overseeing design QA/QC andproject workloads. Simultaneously manage multiple projects and clients. Coordinate design drawings with the CAD team. Maintain regular communication with clientele and project team members includingconducting regular project meetings. Work with the marketing team to pursue opportunities prepare technical proposals andsupport business development efforts. Collaborate with the financial team on fee proposals project forecasting reporting andinvoicing. Perform equipment evaluations and develop technical reports. Light travel primarily between Austin and San Antonio as project needs arise.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Licensed PE in the State of Texas for at least 3 years. Minimum 12 years of technical experience with 5 years in project management. Strong knowledge of water and wastewater regulations. Proven leadership experience and ability to take projects from start to successfulcompletion.

CAS has over 25years of experience in the rehabilitation expansion and development of water and wastewatersystems watershed management and transportation systems throughout Texas.

MUST HAVE:

Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license. Minimum 12 years of technical experience with no less than 5 years in projectmanagement or team leadership. Proven experience leading the design of water and wastewater pipelines force mainspump stations lift stations treatment plants water supply systems and solids handlingfacilities. Strong understanding of current water and wastewater regulations. Demonstrated ability to manage project scopes schedules and budgets whileoverseeing design QA/QC and project workloads. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and clients. Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Project resume showcasing relevant experience (must be ready to submit).

NICE TO HAVE:

Familiarity with Central Texas municipalities including the City of Austin and surroundingagencies. Local project experience in Austin San Antonio and other nearby regions.Compensation: $145000 (commensurate with experience).Employment Type / Standard Operating Hours: Fulltime Hybrid (3 days WFH 2 days onsite).
