Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Staff Accountant responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service
Process biweekly payroll using time and attendance and payroll systems ensuring accuracy and compliance
Train new leaders on the payroll system and process
Verify employee changes are accurate and match paperwork
Process manual payroll checks
Compile audit packages for each payroll to ensure all paperwork has appropriate approvals and meets with standards and procedures guidelines
Liaise with Talent and Culture regarding pay related items including rates of pay employee questions employee changes and compliance
Manage and communicate vacation balance report for all departments in the hotel
Preparing a Daily Labor report
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Hourly Rate: $33.50 USD Gross Per Hour
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Previous office administration or accounting experience preferred
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications or relevant computer applications required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible and reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Frequent sitting throughout shift
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20lbs
Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
