Position: GPS Surveyor
Reports To: Operations Manager
Role Summary:
Manage field teams oversee GPS equipment and ensure accurate survey data for construction projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support for GPS software and equipment.
- Scheduling crews and managing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Integrating GPS systems with site plans and troubleshooting machine controls.
- Operating drones for topographic surveys (license required or willingness to obtain).
Working Conditions:
- Locations: Various job sites.
- Schedule:
- MonThu: 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
- Fri: 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.
- Travel: Some required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with GPS equipment (Topcon preferred).
- High school diploma required; bachelor s degree preferred.
- Valid driver s license and clean driving record.
- Strong problemsolving communication and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
