The Accounts Executive will support the finance team in managing daily accounting tasks ensuring accuracy in financial records and assisting in the preparation of reports. This role requires strong attention to detail organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing invoices payments and expense claims.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Process payrollrelated tasks including maintaining employee records.
- Support VAT tax and other regulatory filings.
- Handle petty cash and reconcile expenditures.
- Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding payment and account queries.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to finance including filing and data entry.
Qualifications and Skills:
- ALevels completed in the commerce stream with a successful passing grade.
- Pursuing or completed AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification.
- Pursuing any additional diplomas or degrees related to finance or accounting would be advantageous.
- Minimum working experience of at least 2 years.
