JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service & Sales:
1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Listen to customer needs and provide personalized jewelry recommendations basedon preferences occasions and budget.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of various types of jewelry including diamonds gemstones metals and designs.
4. Upsell and crosssell products while maintaining customer satisfaction.
5. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the stores POS system.
Product Knowledge:
1. Stay updated on the latest jewelry trends styles and collections.
2. Provide expert advice regarding the quality care and maintenance of jewelry pieces.
3. Understand product specifications including the 4 Cs of diamonds (cut clarity color and carat) gemstone properties and metal types.
Customer Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain longterm relationships with clients through exceptional service.
2. Follow up with clients regarding afterpurchase services such as repairs resizing or cleaning.
3. Keep detailed records of client preferences and past purchases to offer tailored suggestions.
Visual Merchandising:
1. Assist in the display and arrangement of jewelry to create appealing store presentations.
2. Maintain a clean organized and visually attractive store environment.
Inventory Management:
1. Assist with inventory counts and ensure stock levels are adequate.
2. Report any damaged or defective items to the appropriate personnel.
Repair and Maintenance Services:
1. Offer guidance on jewelry repair and maintenance options.
2. Coordinate repair services with vendors or inhouse professionals when required.
Training & Development:
1. Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
2. Keep learning about new jewelry designs gemstones and industry trends.
