Job Description
- Experience: 5 years of experience in HVAC estimating with a proven track record in analyzing project documents and developing comprehensive cost estimates.
- Technical Expertise: Indepth knowledge of HVAC systems equipment materials and installation practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders including clients contractors and design teams.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in estimating software (e.g. Procore Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word etc.).
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately calculate material labor and equipment costs.
- Education: A degree or technical certification in mechanical engineering construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as LEED ASHRAE or other industryspecific certifications are a plus.
- Experience working with commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of local building codes ASHRAE and HVAC regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
