Job Description

1. Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives focusing on cost optimization and quality assurance. Source and procure raw materials such as iron ore s metal ferroalloys and consumables required for the foundry operations. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with local and international suppliers to secure favorable terms. 2. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure consistent quality and reliability. Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards. Develop alternative supplier sources to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity. 3. Operational Efficiency: Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to meet production schedules. Work closely with production quality control and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and optimize the supply chain. Identify and implement costsaving initiatives without compromising quality. 4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws regulations and company policies. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions market volatility and supplier dependencies. 5. Team Leadership and Development: Lead mentor and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental goals and KPIs. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement function. 6. Market Analysis and Trends: Monitor market trends commodity pricing and industry developments to anticipate changes and adapt procurement strategies accordingly. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on procurement performance and market dynamics.
