SAP Configuration Analyst

Job Title: SAP Configuration Analyst(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to map existing business processes to SAP solutions ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to best practices.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP and thirdparty systems including middleware external data sources and nonSAP applications. Troubleshoot integration issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations including settings business process flows user access controls and customizations.
• Proactively monitor system performance recommend optimization strategies and identify any areas for improvement to ensure system efficiency.
• Assist in managing user roles and authorizations within SAP ensuring proper segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance with internal security policies.
• Support data migration activities including data cleansing transformation and upload into the SAP system. Manage master data and ensure its accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with developers to implement custom enhancements and functional developments that improve business processes or meet specific needs of the organization.
• Participate in change management processes helping business users transition smoothly to new SAP configurations and functionalities.
• Act as the first line of support for SAPrelated issues provide enduser troubleshooting assistance and escalate complex issues to technical teams when needed.
• Conduct unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the correctness of configurations and functionality across SAP modules.
• Assist in SAP system upgrades patching and release management ensuring that all custom configurations are compatible with new versions or patches.
• Collaborate with other IT teams project managers and business process owners to ensure timely delivery of projects and resolution of any technical issues.
• Develop user manuals training guides and conduct training sessions to ensure endusers have the knowledge and skills to operate SAP systems effectively.
• Ensure that all configurations comply with regulatory requirements and internal audit policies. Prepare documentation and reports for audits.
• Provide postgolive support including system monitoring troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise after the SAP solution has been deployed

• SAP certifications in specific modules (e.g. SAP FICO SAP MM SAP SD) are highly desirable and can demonstrate specialized expertise in SAP.
• Knowledge of integrating different SAP modules (e.g. FICO MM SD WM HR) and understanding endtoend business processes is beneficial.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its new features particularly in relation to cloudbased solutions realtime processing and simplified user interfaces.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes identify gaps and propose efficient solutions using SAP configuration capabilities.
• Experience in managing or contributing to project plans timelines and deliverables. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with crossfunctional teams document processes and communicate effectively with business users and IT staff.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities to identify analyze and resolve system issues or configuration challenges in a timely manner.
• Understanding of the technical architecture of SAP including database management reporting tools (SAP BI/BW) and integration methods (IDOCs RFCs BAPIs etc.).
• Ability to guide business stakeholders through the SAP change management process ensuring smooth system adoption and minimizing disruption.
• Ability to collaborate with other consultants project managers developers and business users ensuring alignment on project goals and delivering highquality results.
• Familiarity with industry best practices regulatory compliance standards and SAPs own best practice frameworks (e.g. SAP Activate).
• Constantly identify opportunities to improve processes using SAP functionality and suggest improvements for system enhancements.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
