Job Description
Domopan Arabia a leading construction company in the Middle East is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Procurement Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and procurement with a proven track record of successfully managing projects in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain procurement strategies for construction projects in line with company objectives and budget constraints
Source and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Review and analyze project plans specifications and drawings to identify potential procurement issues and recommend solutions
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with project timelines and budget
Monitor and track project expenses ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to budget
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify any procurement needs or issues
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all procurement activities and contracts
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements
Stay uptodate with industry standards and new developments in procurement processes and technology
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement preferably in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of procurement processes supply chain management and contract negotiation
Ability to read and interpret project plans specifications and drawings
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
Fluency in English both written and spoken
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
