Were seeking an influential Director of Brand Marketing to join our dynamic Brand and Marketing team at our Corporate Office in the Sydney CBD. This newly created national role offers the chance to lead the brands evolution across Australasia shaping impactful campaigns PR strategies and brand initiatives that resonate with our audiences.
In this strategic role youll collaborate closely with operational and commercial leaders to craft a seamless and elevated brand experience ensuring consistency and excellence across all guest touchpoints. You will drive both operational brand strategy and customer experience using datadriven insights to strengthen consumer preference enhance satisfaction and deliver measurable growth. As a key brand ambassador youll develop tools and training programs to empower our teams to live the brand values at every level.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development and implementation of brand marketing initiatives across Minor Hotels Australasia ensuring impactful launches and alignment with global and regional strategies.
- Focus on operational brand strategy and success ensuring the consistent delivery of brand standards and customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Continuously optimize brand operations to drive operational efficiency customer satisfaction and longterm brand loyalty across Minor Hotels in Australasia.
- Drive brand transformation programs for Minor Hotels in the Australasia region collaborating with crossfunctional teams and creative partners.
- Manage and enhance the social media presence for all Minor Hotels brands in the region ensuring alignment with brand standards across owned earned and paid media.
- Spearhead public relations and influencer strategies working with PR agencies to enhance media relations brand storytelling and crisis communication.
- Identify and implement brand partnerships to boost awareness and enhance brand perception and preference.
- Provide opening support for new hotels ensuring preopening brand elements are executed seamlessly.
- Collaborate with the global team to implement brand tracking initiatives and measure the success of key campaigns.
- Act as a brand champion ensuring all communications and marketing efforts align with the brand promise and drive positive consumer perception.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will bring the skills attributes and qualifications needed to drive impactful brand initiatives and foster business growth:
- Relevant qualifications in Marketing Communications or a related field with demonstrated experience in brand management or a similar leadership role.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in brand marketing within a large organisation with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand marketing initiatives that drive brand growth and consumer engagement.
- A strong ability to understand business objectives and translate them into effective brand programs that support organisational goals.
- Proven experience analysing consumer insights through data and research to inform omnichannel marketing campaigns including influencer strategies.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with experience driving crossfunctional teams and external agencies to exceed expectations.
- Leadership experience in guiding and mentoring teams fostering collaboration and empowering others to deliver results aligned with brand vision.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships influence stakeholders and find innovative solutions in complex environments.
- A team player with a growth mindset a cando attitude and the willingness to take on projects outside the typical scope to support team success.
