Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a permanent fullTime Cytotechnologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Zanesville OH 43701
Assignment Start Date: 2/11/2025
Shift: MondayFriday day shift; 32 hours/week (no guarantee of more hours) in a highvolume lab. This is considered fulltime and eligible for all benefits. No weekends or holidays. Salary numbers below are based on 1664 worked hours/year.
Salary: $49000.00 to $65000.00
Cytotech will work with stateoftheart instrumentation. The primary duty will be the microscopic evaluation of pap smears. Additional duties will include processing nonGYN specimens assisting with final needle aspirates microscopic evaluation of nonGYN specimens pap smear registration and accessioning pap smear processing pap smear staining and stainer maintenance. The processing registration and accessioning are typically done by support staff but the Cytotechs cover PTO FMLA calloffs or when it is needed based on volume. Equipment used includes Thin Prep processors Thin Prep imager Leica stainer and SoftPath. ASCP required.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience
- Experience required with GYN/nonGYN screenings & fine needle procedures.
- Experience with Cytology specimen processing is a plus.
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- Must be Ohiolicensed
- BLS/BCLS certification required
EMR System: EPIC knowledge/experience preferred
