Job Description
Onsite Location: Downey CA 90242
Position Type: W2 (without benefits) no C2C
Contract Duration: 12 months
Skills:
- Working knowledge of NIS authentication and MS Active directory services conversion for Linux and AIX workloads.
- Managing and administering IBM pSeries Unix system and AIX operating system in an enterprise environment.
- Configuring migrating file systems on AIX servers for multiple storage platforms using LVM Managed IBM VIOS and virtual workloads.
- Created and deployed scripts for automation using Shell Scripts for monitoring and maintenance procedures.
- Managing and administering RedHat enterprise Linux Hands on skills with containers in the cloud.
Experience Required:
- 4 years experience in implementing and administering PowerVM virtualization technologies (Virtual I/O) on IBM System pSeries platform.
- 4 years as a systems administrator installing configuring and updating AIX 7.x on IBM pSeries hardware.
- 4 years as a UNIX systems administrator managing servers in an enterprise environment consisting of 100 or more AIX servers.
- 2 years experience in migrating authentication processes from NIS to Active Directory for UNIX environment.
- 2 years of experience in container technologies.
