Where and how you can work
Our flagship office is in Sydney Australia but weve made our way from down under to hubs in Austin and San Francisco which are now home to our US operations. So whether youre in Texas or California you have choice in where and how you work in each of those states. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if youre near one) at home or a bit of both its up to you.
What youd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.
At the moment this role is focused on:
- Own the Public Sector & Healthcare lifecycle. Youll own strategy planning execution and results within identified governments and healthcare institutions alongside a Customer Success Manager to drive additional MAU growth.
- Foster relationships within your account. Youll onboard accounts and provide strategic sales support to ensure a successful deployment of Canva across multiple departments and crossfunctional implementations
- Focus on the Public Sector & Healthcare community. Youll run a healthy and predictable business that delivers a jointly agreed customer transformation strategy
- Understand the Canva user lifecycle. Youll establish close relationships with our passionate community of Public Sector & Healthcare users to know firsthand what they need to become successful Canva users.
- Identify trends and usage patterns. Youll utilize data analysis to inform future product and marketing plans.
- Drive retention and engagement. Youll continuously test learn and iterate on our lifecycle strategy at our identified customers to build meaningful and impactful relationships.
Youre probably a match if
- Experience with the Government and/or Healthcare Market. You understand Public Sector efficiency solutions and are able to communicate with government systems on how Canva can improve visual design literacy
- Sales Expertise. You are comfortable selling government software solutions combined with realworld experience in design in order to drive MAU growth across these organizations
- Excellent Collaboration skills. You enjoy working alongside your direct team as well as with crossfunctional teams.
- Experience with Implementing new Technologies. You have a deep understanding of how government institutions rollout new technology and the ways institutionwide deployments operate.
- Effective Communication skills. You create clarity through your communication by making complex things simple. You can confidently present your ideas and tell a compelling story to customers and the broader team.
- Strong Business Planning Skills. You have the ability to move from planning all the way through to implementation and complete projects that deliver high impact.
- Experience in Community Management. You understand social media standard processes and tactics for educating audiences.
- Growth Mindset. Youre eager to learn and develop your skills whilst having fun along the way!

At Canva our Public Sector Consultant team is dedicated to supporting any team or organization that has a need to design at scale. We have seen success across different types of companies including those in Education Institutions Governments NotforProfits and others. Teams within organizations that enjoy Canva for Teams come from diverse departments such as Communications Marketing Sales and HR. The core focus of our team is to prove the power of Canva within these public sector entities. Institutions are looking to move away from outdated systems and timeconsuming design processes and we aim to serve by empowering them with the ability to build better products and stories.
Our consultants work closely with our customers to understand their specific goals and objectives and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs. Whether its creating beautiful infographics to help communicate externally with your customers or better understand complex concepts or developing engaging social media content our team has the expertise to help our customers succeed.
