Location: Richmond VA 23219
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
A leading agency is seeking a Business Data Analyst to evaluate and enhance data source systems ensuring data validity and reliability. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with various divisions to identify threats and develop actionable recommendations. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess existing data sources and identify threats to data quality.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and shadow data source users to gather insights.
- Develop and present recommendations to mitigate identified threats.
- Create mechanisms to track and report on the implementation of recommendations.
- Liaise effectively between management program personnel and IT.
Required Technical Skills:
- SQL (5 years)
- Business Systems Analysis (5 years)
- Microsoft Excel (5 years)
- MS Access (3 years)
- Technical Writing (3 years)
