Job Description
Job Title: eCommerce Project Manager
Location: Remote South Africa
Employment Type: Fulltime
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced eCommerce Project Manager to oversee and drive the success of our online projects. In this role you’ll manage crossfunctional teams ensure project timelines are met and optimize our eCommerce operations. If you’re passionate about project management and have a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and trends this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage eCommerce projects from initiation to completion ensuring all deliverables are on time within scope and within budget.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing design development and sales to define project requirements and objectives.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of eCommerce platforms tools and integrations.
- Monitor and analyze project performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
- Manage timelines budgets and resources effectively while addressing any risks or roadblocks.
- Stay updated on eCommerce trends technologies and best practices to drive innovation and success.
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience in project management preferably in the eCommerce industry.
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify Magento WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Asana Jira Trello).
- Bachelor’s degree in business marketing or a related field is preferred.
- PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
