Job Description
As System Specialist you will ensure wellfunctioning warehouse management systems and overarching warehouse control systems by supporting from a technology perspective. The successful candidate will have Functional competencies for supporting technology and systemrelated operations and incidents. They will also ensure proactivity in problemsolving and handson attitude to resolving incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure wellfunctioning WHM & overarching WH Control System Support DC operations
Monitor system functionality and new system functionality developments incl. interfaces WMS WCS and PLC
Communicate change requests from end users to Regional Sales & Ops
Ensure all systems work as expected and are used correctly to aspire best service to the stores and to secure that business is not interrupted
Ensure training of end users (training conducted by Advanced Users if exist) in the departments in new systems and functionalities
Qualifications :
The successful candidate will have the ability to understand system features and updates within a given time frame as well as ability for knowledge transfer. You have a ability to understand your impact to others and contribution to the bigger picture. In addition to having an agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth.
What you need to succeed:
- 12 years system management or department level logistics management experience preferred
- Preferably at least one year in Distribution Center Operations in a high volume high SKU replenish and pick environment
