Overview
A dynamic and growing IT services provider is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Helpdesk Support Technician to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT support services to clients and ensuring seamless operations of IT infrastructure networking and security systems.
Requirements
- 35 years of IT support experience (onsite & remote)
- Relevant IT certifications (A N Security preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
- Experience in a service/help desk environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers field engineers and technicians
- Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install configure and maintain Windows systems networks and VOIP systems
- Manage and maintain firewalls cloud & onsite backups and camera systems
- Document solutions errors and IT procedures to improve efficiency
- Prioritize and resolve support requests while delivering exceptional customer service
- Maintain and update IT documentation to aid future troubleshooting
- Assist with automation projects and digital transformation initiatives
Technical Skills Required
- EndUser & Windows Support: Setup configure and maintain Windows systems
- Networking: Wireless LAN firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- Hardware Support: Build maintain and upgrade desktops/laptops
- Security & Backup Management: Install antivirus manage cloud/onsite backups
- VOIP & Camera Systems: Installation configuration and troubleshooting
- Ticketing & Helpdesk Support: Track and document support requests efficiently
Familiarity with IT Tools & Platforms:
- NCentral
- SentinelOne
- MS365 Suite
- Untangle/iShield Firewalls
- Autotask
