Job Description
Position: Scala Developer
Location: New York NY 3 days onsite a week
Duration: 12 Months
Look for people who had done web applications development using Angular in the past that may have retooled to be ETL/Scala data engineers.
- Expertise technical skillset in build robust applications what I highlighted in yellow. Mainly focus on service side.
- SDLC and Agile will be come as default. Its standard cycle for development so assume this is not an issue.
- Experience with web development using Angular is preferred. No need to be expert.
- Good communication skill as we will work as big team and collaborate with different team.
Skills Required:
- 5 years of work experience in Scala development.
- Excellent knowledge of multithreading and highvolume serverside development.
- Excellent communication organizational and collaboration skills.
- Experience with web development using Angular.
- Practical knowledge of source control and issue management tools ideally Git and JIRA or Rally
Skills Desired:
- Experience building high volume and resilient systems.
- Database experience such as SQL RDBMS etc.
