Job Description
Position: AEM Developer
Location: Sunnyvale CA or Austin TX Day 1 onsite
Education and Experience:
Minimum 8 years experience in designing developing and deploying scalable
enterprise web applications and services using Java/Spring technologies
Minimum 5 years experience in designing and developing large scale Content
Management Systems using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.x onpremise
preferably in Hybrid / Headless approaches
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
Proven Skills and Abilities :
Handson programming experience in Java/J2EE building and deploying highly
scalable REST APIs with deep understanding of Java J2EE Servlets HTL/
Sightly skills combined with enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.
Hands on programming experience in designing and developing complex AEM
Content Fragments Nested content fragment models SPA Editor extensions and
integrations with third party tools and AEM launches.
Proficient in Day CQ / AEM foundational concepts including the use of cor
frameworks such as Apache Sling Apache Felix OSGI solid understanding of all
of the related building blocks and the AEM development and onpremise
deployment processes for multiple launches in parallel.
Good understanding of core web technologies including XML HTML5 CSS
client/serversidescripting languages such as JavaScript preferably using SPA
(Single page application) and web services development using RESTful
implementations.
Work closely with our business to understand their requirement define th
solution develop POCs and demo the work in
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins Maven Hudson etc
Experience in AWS / Cloud approaches is an added advantage
Outstanding attention to details and commitment to excellence.
Dedicated problemsolver who can work in a fast paced environment where
multiple releases are a fact of life
Experience collaborating with other team members in multiple teams diagnosing
and debugging complex systems and participating in investigating build
deployment and operational issues
Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines to solve critical issues
