About the Opportunity
At Hammer Robotics were a team of innovators engineers and dreamers building humanoid robots that will reshape industries. Were looking for a working student that will help us build a cuttingedge robotics simulation environment for our robots.
What You Will Do
Your initial task will be to set up a simulation environment for our first use case in a physics simulator like MuJoCo or Isaac Sim. This will have two purposes: As a showcase for our customers so they can see how we solve their use case and as a testing environment for our software stack. You will then build automated testing processes on top of this simulation environment that allows us to automatically test our software stack.
Following this initial project youll have the opportunity to take on many exciting and challenging projects in the future. As we continue to grow youll have the chance to grow alongside the company.
What Youll Bring
Hard Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python programming (experience with C is a plus).
- Handson experience with physics simulators for robotics (e.g. Isaac Sim MuJoCo Gazebo).
- Familiarity with CAD software (preferably onshape).
- Experience with ROS2.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
Soft Skills
- Independent and selfmotivated work style.
- Ability to handle diverse tasks and changing priorities.
- Proven track record of taking responsibility for deliverables.
Experience
- Preferred: Background in robotics computer science electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Ideally prior experience at a robotics company but this is not a requirement.
- You are at the end of your bachelors degree or already pursuing a masters.
