Job Description
Job Title: Paralegal Specialist
Duration: 2 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: Boston MA 02108 (Onsite)
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
We are seeking up to four Paralegal Specialists to support the agencys Emergency Assistance (EA) and associated programs under the supervision of a Managing Attorney. The ideal candidates will assist with legal and administrative tasks related to policy implementation compliance and public records management.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the implementation of the Emergency Assistance (EA) programs CORI policy including review and analysis of CORI reports.
- Assist the Record Access Officer for EOHLC in receiving reviewing redacting and responding to public record requests in a timely manner.
- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with agency policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with case management as needed.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to streamline legal processes.
- Strong judgment and decisionmaking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and independently manage tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Prior experience in legal research document review or public records processing is a plus.
