Job Description
Job Title: Trusts Estates & Fiduciary Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Uniondale NY
Salary: $140K $170K per year
Job Type: Full Time
Premier Long Island law firm Client seeks a litigation associate for its nationally recognized Trusts Estates and Fiduciary Litigation practice group. This is a unique opportunity to join a collegial group of experienced attorneys known for their thought leadership and active involvement in the New York State Bar Association and Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations. The role is ideal for a motivated attorney looking to enhance their career through direct client interaction with highnetworth clients and handson litigation experience.

J.D. from an ABAaccredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Admission to the New York State Bar.

35 years of litigation experience including:
-
Taking and/or defending depositions.
-
Appearing in court.
-
Drafting pleadings motions discovery requests and responses.

Conducting legal research.
-

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong time management organizational skills and a strong work ethic.

Strong preference for candidates with Surrogates Court litigation experience and other contested proceedings concerning trusts estates and guardianships.

Knowledge of estate planning and administration is a plus.
