Job Description
Job Title: Program Director / Senior Program Manager Digital Transformation & SAP Implementation Project
Location: Miami FL (Onsite)
Client: AEG Fuels
Duration: 12 Months
Experience: 15 Years
Prefer USC and Oil and Gas industry experience.
Note: The candidate must have extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA ISOil SAP CRM Data Lake and the Avalara tax engine.
Position Overview:
The Program Director / Sr. Program Manager will provide strategic leadership and handson program management for the digital transformation initiatives at AEG Fuels. This includes overseeing the SAP S4HANA ISOil SAP CRM Avalara tax engine and Data Lake implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic thinking technical expertise and experience in managing largescale enterpriselevel projects. This role will ensure that the transformation is delivered on time within budget and in alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership & Governance:
- Lead and manage the overall digital transformation program which includes the SAP implementation Data Lake development CRM solution and the integration of Avalara.
- Define and execute the program governance model ensuring clear decisionmaking accountability and communication across all levels of the project.
- Act as the main point of contact for senior leadership guiding the programs strategic direction and ensuring it aligns with organizational goals.
- Oversee the development of project plans define milestones and track the overall progress of the digital transformation efforts.
- Establish and manage risk management processes to proactively identify track and resolve program risks and issues.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand and document requirements ensuring that the solution meets the needs of the organization.
- Maintain regular communication with senior executives providing status updates escalation management and highlighting critical program issues.
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment between business teams IT teams and thirdparty vendors (e.g. SAP consultants Avalara Data Lake vendors).
- Project Execution & Delivery:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the SAP S4HANA ISOil SAP CRM Avalara tax engine and Data Lake implementations.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to deliver projects ontime and within scope including resource allocation timeline management and budget oversight.
- Ensure that the solutions are integrated effectively considering business processes data strategy and IT infrastructure.
- Oversee the design development and deployment of custombuilt workbenches tailored to AEG Fuels business requirements.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Proactively identify risks to the programs success and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead issue resolution processes ensuring quick and effective resolution of blockers changes and adjustments to the project plan.
- Regularly track and report on program performance providing transparency and keeping key stakeholders informed.
- Data Strategy & Intelligence:
- Oversee the Data Lake initiative ensuring alignment with AEG Fuels overall data strategy and ensuring integration with business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Ensure the new data architecture supports advanced analytics and provides the company with meaningful insights for decisionmaking.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead a crossfunctional team providing guidance motivation and mentoring to ensure a collaborative and highperformance environment.
- Establish clear objectives for each phase of the project and hold teams accountable for meeting those objectives.
- Support career development within the team and ensure that the project team has the necessary skills resources and support to succeed.
- PostImplementation Support:
- Provide guidance during the postimplementation phase ensuring the transition to operational teams and business users is seamless.
- Oversee the transition of the new ERP system CRM and data tools into businessasusual operations ensuring adoption across the organization.
- Collaborate with business units to continuously evaluate system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 15 years of experience leading largescale digital transformation initiatives specifically in ERP implementations data strategy and CRM systems.
- Deep experience with SAP S4HANA ISOil SAP CRM Data Lake design and integrations.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering crossfunctional enterprise projects that involve business and technology alignment.
- Experience with Avalara tax engine integration is highly desirable.
- Strong vendor management skills and experience with working in a multivendor environment.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to drive change and lead large distributed teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage large budgets and oversee multiple workstreams with conflicting priorities.
- Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification required.
- SAP certifications (e.g. SAP S4HANA SAP ISOil) preferred.
- Agile or Scrum certifications are a plus.
