Job Description
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
- Develop an understanding of the business environment and use that understanding to provide informed solutions to LDOE for review;
- Suggest program goals and objectives aligning them with the organizations strategy;
- Lead crossfunctional teams to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget;
- Escalate risks and issues providing mitigation strategies as needed;
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders including senior management;
- Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure program and project goals are met;
- Provide daytoday support for ongoing processes;
- Conduct ongoing evaluation and improvements for processes providing data analysis support for the agencys workload demands.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
- Seven (7) plus years of experience in program or project management preferably in datarelated fields;
- Strong understanding of data management principles and practices;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with experience presenting to senior management and stakeholders;
- Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
- Experience in data analysis or data science fields;
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI);
- Experience with advanced Excel/Google Sheet formulas;
- Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and practices;
- Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies;
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data management technologies (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud);
- Process automation low code development tools and strategies.
