Job Title: Business Analyst Financial Domain
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g. finance operations compliance) to gather and document detailed business requirements related to financial processes and systems.
- Analyze financial data trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities for business process improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development and IT teams.
- Evaluate and streamline existing financial systems tools and processes to ensure they meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the development team to implement financial software solutions ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Assist in the development of financial reports dashboards and business intelligence tools to provide insights for decisionmaking.
- Provide ongoing support to users and stakeholders in optimizing the use of financial systems and tools.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure financial applications meet business needs and specifications.
- Ensure that financial solutions are compliant with industry regulations including accounting standards taxation and financial reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the financial sector and recommend best practices and solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services domain (e.g. banking insurance investment accounting).
- Strong knowledge of financial systems tools and technologies used in the industry (e.g. SAP Oracle Financials financial reporting software).
- Solid understanding of financial processes such as budgeting forecasting financial reporting and compliance.
- Experience in analyzing financial data and generating actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Strong business process modeling skills and experience with requirements gathering documentation and process mapping.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) with advanced skills in Excel (e.g. pivot tables financial modeling).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. IFRS GAAP SOX).
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
